The original holy image of Our Lady of Ostrabrama is unusual in that the Virgin is depicted without the Christ Child. The Virgin is twice crowned and is perched over a half moon. She is depicted as the humble servant of the Lord and a merciful mother. This is image is popular among Lithuanian and Polish faithful.
