This exclusive clothed figurine-statue of Saint Maximilian Kolbe is beautiful in detail and expression! What a great likeness to the zealous priest who gave his life for another! He stands in his habit of a Conventual Franciscan Friar with his trademark beard and glasses! In his hands he holds the two crowns offered to him by Our Lady which signified purity and martyrdom; the palm of martyrdom and the striped cloth symbolizing the clothing of a prisoner of Auschwitz. He is known for his zealous work to save souls, his love of the Immaculate Mother of God, and his selfless sacrifice – even unto death.

St. Maximillian
What a beautiful gift to bestow upon a beloved friend trying to ween himself off of prescription pain pill medication. With trust, this can be achieved through the grace of God and the intercession of St. Maximilian Kolbe. St. Maximilian also holds a very dear place in my heart as one who lost paternal family at Auschwitz. Had it not been for the foresight of the family to send three boys away, the youngest, my great grandfather at age nine, I would not be here. Another example of life upheld as a miracle, as is all life. St. Maximilian followed Christ by laying down his life for a friend and accepted both crowns from our Blessed Mother as a brave young man. The Sisters of MICM have provided such care of this precious saint that his depiction is beyond compare. I was brought to tears when the box was opened. Thank you for offering us such beautiful gifts to share and know that in my prayers this ministry shall always remain. Thank you from the bottom of my heart as words truly cannot begin to express the gratitude in being able to share such an original gift. St. Maximilian, I beseech thee, bring David's prayers to the Throne of God for him to beat this addiction.
