Description
The life of Blessed Miguel Pro in revolutionary Mexico is one of sanctity, humor, perseverance, sacrifice and service as he struggled to fulfill his mission to Christ's Church and His people. Padre Pro selflessly placed himself in danger in order to bring the Faith to all Mexicans, regardless of social status or political opinion.

The Housetops- Bl. Miguel Pro
It was a pleasure to learn Blessed Pro’s story. It’s leading me to learn more about the Cristero’s.

Detailed information on Padre Pro
Having just returned from a trip to Mexico City to visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, I ordered a copy of "From the Housetop" featuring Padre Pro in preparation for the trip. Not knowing much about him, I read the article the evening before our group's scheduled visit to the Church of the Holy Family in Mexico City where his remains our housed. The article provided a detailed understanding of his life and death and I was totally overwhelmed with emotion because of his faithfulness and willingness to calmly go to his death because of his Catholic faith....and this only happened ~80 years ago. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the information ! That issue of From the Housetops was passed around to several people in our tour group and everyone was amazed at his life story. Attached to the church was a museum containing many relics of this amazing person. I pray to him I would have the faith and courage to stand up for Christ if I am ever in the same situation. Well worth reading for every Catholic striving to keep the faith!
